I liked the little tidbit where it showed Carmen with the chef from Denmark that Marcus worked under for a few weeks. Goes back to that convo when that chef said his life got easier once he realized he wasn't the best because he worked with an unnamed chef (who is shown to be Carmen) who was so much better than him.

I think I cracked the code on this:
Family = Utter Chaos & Insanity
Restaurant = Perfect Order
It's all intertwined...that's really the issue. There's no separation, and maybe that's what episode 6 tried to convey in a convoluted and tortuous way. The Restaurant can achieve per near perfect order, but like the place Richie trained at proved...you need man power to attain that. Carmy puts too much on his plate, forgets small details, they come back to bite him, and he goes nuclear in a fridge.
We saw from Jamie Lee Curtis's emotional ping pong match that the chaotic, yet perfectionist mentality runs in his blood (might be why his brother was an addict as well from how he acted when seeing Carmy's restaurant idea). Whatever it is that is fricked in his head, needs to be fixed, or it's going to ruin his life and career.
Side note, I fully expected Jamie Lee Curtis to drive her car into the restaurant at the end. Would have been on point. Give that bitch the Emmy.

Absolutely.
Episodes 4 & 7 are my favorite, I love how they intertwine when Richie sees that photo on the wall.

Episode 7 “Forks” and it might be my favorite one so far. It centers mostly around Richie.

Am I the only one that just despises Sydney with every fiber of their being.
I just can’t stand her.

No, you aren't.
frick that bitch. She has accomplished nothing in the culinary world and demands equal treatment to one of the acknowledged best chefs in the world.
She is awful.

You don't watch for those scenes. You tolerate them for episodes 4 and 7 of this season.
Absolutely fantastic television.

Just finished season 2. Loved it. I hope there is a season 3, but I’m ok if the end of season 2 is the series finale.

I just got done with episode 6. People actually liked that episode?
Just watched it last night, horrible. Tried too hard to induce anxiety, it was gimmicky and annoying.

Loved episode 7. Loved the inside look at ultra high end dining. The smudge freak out was great and I almost it when Ritchie said: “micro basil?, F yeah”. Lol

Final episode question (spoilers)....
what was the significance of the ticket printer and Sydney throwing up? Did she F up or just exhausted from the rush?

What do you like about her? That’s probably the most perplexing thing I’ve read all day.
She’s awful.

She was having a panic attack from thinking back to Season 1 when she fricked up their ticket ordering system then quit.

Episode 6 was some of the best TV I’ve seen. From the comments in this thread, the ep caused a visceral reaction for most people who watched it. Uncomfortable, aggravating, stressful all conveyed masterfully…the acting in this ep was exceptional…
The entire season has been great.
