Between bad luck and bad base running, plus not not playing his best position, I thought this season was turning into a letdown. Boy was wrong!

It feels like Tre Morgan has put the ball into play on every at bat. It feels like he hits everything. It just always seems to be line drives straight into a glove or a hopper that miraculously gets caught for an out.

Well two nights ago this board -a very big chunk of it- pronounced him the reason the team lost to Wale Forest because of his “Little League” slide into home.

That dude’s amazing!!! Love watching him at 1st base, and get excited every time he comes to the plate.

Add in 1 very shitty base running error and slide into home.

Dude is great, just an awesome baseball player. You can tell by watching him that he’s been trained well along the way, from the time he could probably walk, he’s had good preparation and coaching. You can also tell that his base running luck has been so bad that he’s now overthinking every time he’s on base, and it’s paralyzed him in those situations; it happens, but you take everything else because he is so dang good…

Tre is on fire at the plate and the best fielding 1B I can recall. He's a magician out there or as Lyn Rollins put it the "human gumby."

If he only knew how to slide we would have beat Wake and be sitting pretty right now

I believe he does have the least strikeouts on the team. Or at least the lowest K/AB ratio

I wouldn't be surprised, I only every see him get out on flys, caught line drives and 1st base outs on hoppers.

A win wasn't a sure thing at that point.

But he doesn’t look like a 1st baseman! Put him in the outfield! /s

That full-splits to snag that throw to first during the first Tennessee game was incredible
