Critical question looking back at 2020 election: Was it winnable for Trump?

If 2020 was winnable, then Trump failed to execute a winning strategy. For the last 2+ years the message has been “it was stolen! rigged!” when in actuality Trump could have won but he didn’t do what it took, aka he simply lost. The whole “it was rigged! stolen!” message would just be justification for him running again since if his base saw his loss as legitimate they would dump him for losing to fricking Biden.

If 2020 was unwinnable, then 2024 must be unwinnable, in which case why is Trump even running and acting like he can win? Why are we even talking presidential politics?

So which is it?

Your boy would have also lost to. He wasn’t running against Biden. He was running against a massive harvesting system run by democrats. Trump gained 12 mil votes from 2016 which is impressive. In hindsight, Trump’s team should’ve known about what they were up against and done the same thing. I don’t think anyone anticipated five swing states to stop counting at 2am, assess how many votes they needed, then go “collect” them. Elections have changed.

So 2020 was unwinnable? No matter what he did, they were going to steal it?

So why is he acting like this time will be different?

Not when the Dems can wait to see what vote totals they need to win…then they can effectively ’keep counting’ until they have enough.

If they didn’t steal it in those swing states, they sure AF made it seem like they did…or at least set it up where they can next time.

Oh who am I kidding, when you mail out ballots without having real voters request them, then don’t verify signatures when you get them back…who fricking cares anymore?

So democrats outplayed him in 2020? Otherwise known as he simply lost?

So DeSantis will lose too then.

What’s your point?

So why is he acting like he can win 2024 if it was so easy to steal it from him last time?

Don’t you think OP asks an important question that hasn’t been adequately answered by Trump?

It's much more winnable for any Republican than can win AZ and GA.

Is there a single person on this board willing to answer the question: “Why does Trump think he can win 2024?”

I guess he feels like there will be no ‘global emergency’ which will allow states to circumvent the constitution and let random people make up the voting rules…he knows he can’t count on the courts now, that’s for sure.

Why does a guy polling at 12% in his own party think he can win?

Cult45 is yet to reconcile how there was supposedly massive fraud in 2020, yet Trump is totally going to win this time.

I’m still waiting
