Lol, the umps sucked, but they sucked for both teams.

We lost because their pitching lived up to their lofty billing and shoved it right down our dick.

Or maybe they walked more guys than they did because the umpire was fricking terrible. Or maybe the struck out more than they did because the ump was terrible. I genuinely couldnt tell who was better. That umpire needs a new job

Nope.

Didn’t suck nearly enough for them. Gifting them the bases loaded with 0 outs and winning by 1 is literally the difference in the game.

Meh…there was probably 1 AB wake got really fricked on.

Floyd should have made it out of that inning but that ump got his fat feelings hurt and really out the screws to him

Ok boss. The umpires crappy strike zone kept Wake’s pitcher n the game. It helped Ty some, but for the most part Ty was blowing fastballs by them. Until the 6th, when the strike zone shrunk appreciably to anyone who was watching. So to sum it up, the ump kept their starter in the game but ran ours out (when his strike zone suddenly shrunk). Think that might have favored one team a little more.

Contrarian gonna contrarian

His strike zone went to the size of a pie plate in the course of an inning

Hitters sucked but nothing wrong with complaining about how shite blue was for us

Grats on the huge W tonight

I disagree.

The pitching was helped immensely, for both sides, because the batters never had an idea of what was a strike and what wasn’t. It’s already incredibly hard to hit a baseball. It’s 10x tougher when one pitch may be a strike and the next pitch in the exact same location isn’t.

I HATE hyperbole. But I can honestly say that is the worst performance by a home plate umpire I’ve ever seen. I watched the game with 40+ strangers and to a person no one was ever sure if a pitch was a strike or a ball.

What did our pitching do then? It was still a 1 run game.

Yes, the ump sucked both ways, be sure seemed partial towards the end to Wake.
