It is a shame Tiger will have ultimately failed

at his goal as a kid. The laying in bed dreaming and predicting he would pass Jack is such a ridiculous expectation coupled with the fact how he was rolling along but ultimately body breakdowns and addiction got him. Maybe he could have squeezed more in during his prime if he didnt change his swing, coaches, putter all the time. Obviously failure is the last thing Tiger Woods is in golf but with they way the story was unfolding its a little stunning that it isnt gonna finish. In 2008 after that US Open i would have thought a tie with Jack at minimum was a lock.

But what a life the guy has lived (so far).

Eh, he's an a-hole and a cheat. Glad he didn't beat a good man like Jack.

He might not pass him in wins, but Tiger is the best golfer who has ever lived.

If he dreamed about being a billionaire and having a yacht the size of the Titanic and being the premier voice in pro golf, he may just be able to live with the rest.

Is it though? Not really a sympathetic figure IMHO

I disagree. Tiger changed the game of golf. But Jack has won 18 majors and finished 2nd 19 times. I don’t care who else was playing at the time. That’s a remarkable achievement.

Still the GOAT golfer. Nobody says Margaret Court is a greater tennis player than Serena Williams and Steffi Graf because she won more slams than them. So why should Jack be considered the GOAT because he has more majors than Tiger?

Ok, I understand you're trolling here.
However, you miserable keyboard warrior frick, what have you quantifiably accomplished worth a shite?
God forbid someone dreams big and falls slightly short.

Regardless, he’s the best to ever play the game. There’s never been anyone like him and there almost certainly never will be.

Because Jack had the power of Tiger.

I mean what the guy stated is a fact. Tiger was obviously amazing but he didn't fulfill his goal or potential.

I’m not sure how you could objectively quantify his potential.
