Over a million to Germany this year. Over 500,000 to Britain.

They are fully under the boot of American policy. It's pure malice.

I recommend the strange death of Europe by Douglas Murray. A few years old but pretty crazy and gives a deep dive into the history of this.

I wouldn’t say they’re the boot of American policy. They started that shite long before we did. They’re also connected to the rest of the world so it makes sense as to why they have lots of migrants every year.

But they love taking in those Middle Eastern refugees. Poland doesn’t like all that shite though.

It's looking better and better every day, but Polish language seems brutal.

Have you been to Europe lately? I was in France last summer and Greece/Switzerland The last couple of weeks. It’s an absolute hellscape. France is completely inundated with delicious cuisine, amazing architecture and priceless art in Paris. Provence is in much worse shape with bucolic vistas, inexpensive, locally grown food and wine, and friendly people (I highly don’t recommend the small villages around Avignon). Marseille is a coastal apocalypse where you can find great prices for boating tours of the calanques. Nice is likewise a disaster where the French and Italian cultures merge on the Cotes d’Azur. The Promenade was littered with wonderful restaurants, beautiful women in bikinis or less, and quaint antique, open air markets.

Greece, oh good lord. They don’t even speak English, or at least some don’t. I was forced to revisit western history on the Acropolis and the Archeological Museum. I was subjected to gyros, souvlaki, pastitsio, moussaka, saganski, and worst of all retsina. That was just in Athens. Naxos and Santorini were just too unbearable to describe.

Zurich was the icing on the most diabolical cake ever. Affordable public transportation, forward thinking architectural design that considers climate and pollution, probably the cleanest city I’ve ever been to all amidst mountains, medieval old towns and the picturesque Lake Zurich.

It’s completely out of hand.

For real. Listened to Bannon today, and he reported that they have finally gained the ability to CREATE a *Human* lifeform without egg or sperm. The CCP is on it hard; like they don't have enough mouths to feed already. I suppose their new 'entities' won't need a lot of food. I wonder what they will 'need'. Fermi Paradox is real. Hope Jesus is.

Selective tool is selective. Tourist sees tourist stuff.

Europe is changing in many places. Most worried I have ever felt in traveling the world was Paris. Watched Nuremberg change. Watched Luton and London change. Etc etc It’s wild.

It’s my job to understand global retail. I don’t just see the places they want you to see.

It’s also a great place to get sliced and diced.

You went to ALL of those places last summer. I mean, I’ve been to the vast majority of them (dozens of times), but it was over the course of 30 years.

Europe has issues, and they are becoming more pronounced as the years pass. Their invaders aren’t hard working Catholics.

I’ll grant you the tourist view is different, but we went all over Paris and never felt particularly threatened by anything more than aggressive panhandlers. Similar in Arles and Aix-En-Provence.

Pretty much the same in Athens except for a few locations away from Plaka and Monastiraki, but it was really just homeless folks and similar to every large US city I’ve ever been in.

Naxos and Santorini are obviously different being either primarily tourist or rural.

Zurich beats every US City I’ve ever traveled to, but unfortunately it’s expensive as frick.

We were in Greece 5 years ago as well. The most unfortunate change that I saw this time is corporatization, a lot more chains and big box bullshite. Hopefully they can resist the McDonldification of their society.

No. France was last summer.

Greece and Zurich, we just returned from.

We did Greece five years ago as well.

My daughter is a year away from college, so probably won’t be going to Europe for a few years unless airfare comes down.
