Marine veteran Daniel Penny was indicted Wednesday for the New York City subway chokehold death of Jordan Neely, sources told Fox News.

The exact charges will remain sealed until his arraignment, but he was arrested on one count of second-degree manslaughter for the homeless man’s May 21 death.

Neely, who suffered from mental illness and had a long history of violent attacks on subway riders, stormed onto the train at the Second Avenue station in Manhattan at about 2:30 p.m., screaming and threatening passengers

Total bullsh*t. All the more reason to avoid NYC. A violent street thug can attack bystanders who have no recourse.

He was just a poor harmless Michael Jackson impersonator that had 44 arrests and kidnapped a 7 year old and beat an old lady on the subway so bad that she broke her face.

This is what a Progressive voter considers a "hero"

This story disturbs me greatly. If ever there was a person to support with your treasure and prayers, it’s this man.

Prosecutorial discretion seems to only favor the thugs.

Indeed.

As far as I can tell, this guy was trying to protect innocent people, yet he is being treated like those McMichael yahoos in Georgia.

21st century USA. Where the rights of the criminal stand supreme.

Progressives are the absolute worst of the worst.

Evidence against him is non existent. He'll be found not guilty and NYC will burn.

Race had nothing to do with Penny's action. Race had everything to do with the indictment and everyone knows it.

If convicted any idea what one count of second degree manslaughter (assuming that is what they end up charging him with) would carry in NY with someone with a (again assuming) clean record?

Reminder: A legal defense fund remains available for donations, should anyone want to support him.

God willing he gets enough people on the jury fed up with NYC’s shite. But I have my doubts, bigly.

He killed a man with his bare hands. He will face a jury for his actions.

At some point, the authority of prosecutors will have to be rejected by the people. Law enforcement will not be allowed to arrest those defending themselves. Street justice will have to be applied because the prosecutors won’t prosecute the criminals committing the crimes.

One day, no one will be there to help the helpless. Then what? I’m guessing the POS that is Alvin Bragg and those that think and vote like him never think about that.
