Merica’s Open returns to LA and recently renovated Los Angeles Country Club North Course

All the talk will be LIV/PGA merger and Monahan getting cucked by the Saudis

But once Thurs AM hits we get 12 hours of coverage including nice primetime golf

It's all about the setup. The Open loves to put a course on the very edge of the ability to play. When the ball hits the greens it often looks like one of those superballs of days gone by. Will they set this thing fair and square? Or will it look like they are putting on marble? It's the US Open, so who knows?

DJ and Rory both a have a huge advantage shooting this low in the afternoon groupings today. They will ramp up the greens tomorrow and the sun should come out later.

Late/early pairings have the big advantage
