Andy McCarthy interview on Trump indictment

Would recommend giving this a listen from Assistant U.S. Attorney Andy McCarthy. I don't think he's anti-Trump at all, and he's highly critical of what has happened to the DOJ and the national security apparatus, actually to the point of writng a book talking about the absurdity of the Deep State's endless attacks on Trump during his 2016 run and eventually his presidency.
His point in the interview is that while there are two different systems of justice in this country, the charges appear to be more serious than he expected. Long but fairly balanced and informative interview

He's still going to win the primary.

Until this is fixed:
then this doesn't matter:
I mean, how can the 2nd statement even matter in the face of the first!?!

Because stupid people are stupid and the only thing they know for certain is OMB.
Exactly how the OM is B is still tbd but largely irrelevant to such critical thinkers.

What does this have to do with anything McCarthy said?

WUT!?
NO, it doesn't! So if you were convicted by dirty cops, the evidence they had against you would supersede the fact that they are KNOWN dirty cops?
Hell, even OJ got off on the fact that the cops didn't collect evidence appropriately and here we are talking about prosecuting an actual US president and as we slide into a banana republic all people can say is.... "well the evidence is really, really bad". Can you tell me when in the past 7-8 years that Trump has done something that isn't "literally Hitler" or with "doctored evidence" or with some statue that has "never been used before in history" or that some official gov't agent didn't actually "lie" to a court or colleagues or whatever!!!
There's a saying which many people have forgotten:
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!

Then I guess we can just focus on black people and their crimes, as long as they're serious. Ignore crimes white people commit. Yes, that sounds like a great way to run a justice system.

So he canceled his own statement out? Seems legit

There are two or three posters who can't really offer anything to a topic aside from that sentiment.
"TRUMP is your nominee, it doesn't matter!!!"

And the 3 “conservative” posters who are on this page are also never trumpers. They can be easily pointed out. They are the concern trolls who turn ever post here into the SECRant.

Then this is an easy call.
When a corrupt system comes out with charges that appear serious, the system is presumed guilty until proven innocent.

McCarthy would not be talking to the MSM unless he agreed to be negative about Trump.

SCOTUS RUles on this in 2012.
quote:
Any President has the absolute statutory power to take personal copies — classified or non-classified — when he leaves office.
An Obama judge confirmed that in 2012 when former President Clinton had 8 years of highly classified recordings of his presidency in his sock drawer.

Any President has the absolute constitutional power, as commander in chief, to declassify anything he wants.
The Supreme Court confirmed that in Department of the Navy v. Egan in 1988.
