20x the sales price of an item because it’s out of stock? Have a baby that’s due this month and people are telling me to get this Dr Smiths diaper cream and how it works wonders blah blah blah. Normally runs $4 a tube at a pharmacy. Can’t find it anywhere online.

Amazon is selling the product for $83 a piece which is absolutely absurd. Is that even legal? I’m sure there’s an FDA law about the amount of markup there can be on a medical product.

Probably so.

Nevertheless, go with Beaudoux's butt paste instead.

Don’t waste money or time on that stuff. Aquaphor will take care of everything.

Price gouging is, I think, only illegal in a declared state of emergency. Beyond that it’s just the old “supply and demand” taking effect and driving up the price.

I’m sure there’s some stricter parameters for medical products - but my guess is the price you are seeing on Amazon is likely reseller who is selling through Amazon. So it’s likely not governed like prices in a pharmacy.

Supply and demand, capitalism, baw.

You can't overcharge during a state of emergency, like a hurricane, not because of diaper rash.

Funny this picture came up. I was talking to someone about his stunt a few days ago. Decided to look up if he's still in prison, but he is out now. What a conman. $2,500 a month is about $2,500 too much for him to live on.

Martin Shkreli, the former pharmaceutical chief executive officer who served almost seven years in prison for securities fraud, is earning $2,500 a month consulting for a law firm and living with his sister in Queens, New York, according to the US Probation Office.

Look buddy I understand your innate desire to care for your child but what you’re asking for is straight up socialism.

Buy another line of diaper rash cream. Boudreaux’s butt paste is incredible as are any number of ointments and elixirs. How old are you?

We’ve survived two children without dr smiths diaper cream.

Boudreauxs butt paste works fantastic.

If your kid(s) have sensitive skin, Tubby Todd is fantastic for everywhere else you wouldnt put butt paste.

There's like 5 competitors that all work well. Get Desitin or Aquafour for dirt cheap. They've been working well for decades. And that Boudreaux's stuff works well too.

Did you not take Free Enterprise in HS? That's simple supply and demand.
