But a team I was on, many moons ago, got our asses waxed by “The King and his Court”. ( Softball )

I’ve seen a lot of social media about them out of no where. Is this their first year in existence? Remind me of the Harlem Gloetrotters.

Are you fricking retarded? They aren’t doing that shite in games that actually fricking mean anything. Could you imagine Skenes rolling up to Omaha and doing the jerk on the mound or some dumb shite? Jesus.

They play by crazy rules.
Any foul ball caught by a spectator counts as an out.
If a batter steps out of the box between pitches, it’s a called strike.
When the umpire calls “ball four,” the batter takes off sprinting and the defense has to throw the ball to every fielder. Runners can keep going until the ball is thrown to every fielder, including outfielders.
If a batter bunts, he is thrown out of the game.
Etc…

Both.
He also started a thread about how yell practice makes A&M the best student section.

They’ve been around for awhile, but I think recently they’ve become more of a joke and aren’t affiliated with any form of professional league.
I thought about it, you must not want to extend your career if you join that team. I’m assuming it’s for average players who might get paid decently.
I love actual Baseball, so I’ve laughed a few times, but overall I think it’s pretty dumb.

Savannah bananas used to be a college summer league baseball team up until this past year.
So I thought it was fun to watch some college kids have some "fun" while also playing a competitive game thay actually meant something.
However now they really are just an exhibition team like the Harlem globe trotters. They don't really play real baseball. They have their on set of rules for "banana ball" . It's still a fun game/show and worth seeing if you can get tickets. Fun for the family, but it's no longer "real" baseball.

They are sold out every game.
their ballpark holds less than half as many people as The Box does.

They are not a minor league team. They are independent. Used to be a Wooden Bat College League but transitioned to pro this year so they could do Banana Ball 24/7. They have another team called The Party Animals that they play most games against. Have also challenger games against various minor, independent, and college teams. Have also started traveling and playing Banana Ball Games around the country.
