I got to get it off my chest. But ya me and a group of die hard LSU fans tailgated all day for a game that never got played. Maybe few dribbles of rain with lightning way in the distance. The game not being played tonight is a fricking disgrace and trash. I wanted to see the Tigers whoop some arse Saturday night in the box. frick this pussy Earth. fricking lightning that’s miles away. fricking pussies. Ban me. I don’t care. We’ve been waiting for a postseason night game in the box for a long time. You can all admit it. Everyone has become a big PUSSY! There’s no fricking way you can agree we couldn’t have played tonight.

I got to see when we won the SR against Rice that year. That team went on to win the whole CWS. Front row seats by 3rd base. It was awesome! I'm blessed!

It really sucks y'all didn't get to see the game last night. Prayers for you and your friends.

Sorry bud but as long as the weather bug app is showing lightning strikes within 8 miles they’re not going to fill up a stadium full of people and put players on the field. Usually the 8 mile rule gives you time to get everybody out of the way before it’s right on top of you. It was just one of those weird storms that lingered just inside the radius. Yea, they could have played and nobody would have got struck by lightning but if they have parameters they’re going to follow them. Not sometimes, not all the time, but every single time. shite happens.

You had a lot of truths and alcohol in your post. Yes your opinion does matter but not to the ones in charge (lawyers involved), but your opinion of the earth and lightning is a little harsh. After all, storms will always be a part of life ... it is all of us that are in their path.... good heart felt post though.

you can't handle a game being postponed but calling others a pussy? technically you did call yourself a pussy, though.

... And 1 lightning strike on the field and bunch of kids are dead..maybe fans as well.
Surely hate that the potential of that upsets you and your plans for fun.

His point is that the parameters are overly cautious. He is ranting about the fact that people aren't left anymore to take their own risks and instead we are all subject to the safety nazis.

When is the last time one lightning strike has killed multiple players? On a field?

The 1972 Tokyo Typhoon baseball team immediately comes to mind.

Yeah it sucks that the game we all anticipated didn’t happen but put your whining selfishness aside. Kids in open field and lightning is a dangerous combo. Very tiny percentage that someone gets strike but those are the rules and not worth it for your entertainment.
