Meet the new BOSS

Another Federal agency is telling us we cannot use legal pot and own guns. I read the 2A and I did not see any mention of the word "pot", "cannabis", "marijuana", or any other related substance.
I do remember the 2A did say "shall not be infringed." Even Hunter Biden sees it as a benefit!!
It takes my memory back to those days of my youth, higher than a kite, walking through the woods carrying my .270 Weatherby bolt-action mag and my Sony Walkman headphones dialed into The Happiest Days of our Lives while waiting on the whitetail buck to make his move! (I hope I did not use the wrong pronoun on the buck.)

I lived in Montana for a year. This was pretty much everyone there. Everyone had a gun, almost everyone smoked.

The St. Paul office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives noted that distinction. It means people who smoke weed or take marijuana edibles are "still federally defined as an 'unlawful user' of a controlled substance," and therefore are "prohibited from shipping, transporting, receiving, or possessing firearms or ammunition," the agency said in its release Tuesday.
"Until marijuana is legalized federally, firearms owners and possessors should be mindful that it remains federally illegal to mix marijuana with firearms and ammunition," said Jeff Reed, ATF's acting special agent in charge of the of the St. Paul field division.
It's hard to believe anyone could take a job at the ATF and call himself an American.

When you purchase a firearm the background check explicitly asks if you use any illegal drugs.
As long as pot is illegal at the federal level this will be an issue.

This is not how a Constitutional Republic functions. The founding documents were meant to limit government Tyranny not establish it. This particular State correctly nullified a federal law that they didn't agree with so the fed attacks the rights of free citizens in this State. What a joke.
