Now that this debt ceiling agreement has passed, can Gaetz get McCarthy removed as SOH?

This debt ceiling (and some of the individual concessions within the agreement) directly violate the promises KM made to Gaetz, et al in the negotiations for SOH. The hammer Gaetz negotiated was an easy procedural removal process, so now, questions are raised:
1. Will Gaetz (or someone in his Patriot coalition) file to remove KM as SOH?
2. Can that coalition get the support to remove KM as SOH?
3. If that coalition is unwilling to remove KM, what are the long-term effects?
4. If the coalition is willing, but unable, to remove KM, what are the long-term effects?
I know Gaetz got McCarthy's nuts in a vice on paper, but if he can't come through with replacing KM then his whole coalition may be dead within a year. This would show the lack of power they have and may neuter them to even further fringes of the Congressional power structure.

You said the America First wing of the party was dead. Now, you want it to lead an effort to remove the establishment Speaker?

Heard that Bannon is endorsing Lumer to primary MTG: Loomer is moving into MTG's District. That will be interesting.

I don't love McCarthy but I dont think he's done that bad of a job. If we remove the speaker now, how much momentum do we lose going into 2024?

He has to go through Jordan. If he can get him on board then McCarthy is gone, otherwise he’ll need to be a menace to McCarthy.. it’s a dangerous game for both but if Gaetz wants to make his move.. the next couple weeks are the time
McCarthy broke his public word to this group and the press is going to award this win to Biden so I just don’t see how mccarthy can lead a collective of groups affectively anymore.. he chose the weak path.

The uniparty is too strong

No. They all had beers together after.

I’d rather have Nancy P than McCarthy, he might be the biggest slimeball in DC

From a purely Xs and Os perspective:
Probably should if they want to show that they actually have teeth
Ultimately, no
They prove they have no teeth and the America First movement is officially dead
Depends on how the process goes. If it's like the first speaker election, they prove they're a force to be reckoned with. If they just go through the motions and waste a morning, the coalition is dead.
The smart move is moving around in the background now. Try seeing if yu have enough votes to make KM uncomfortable. If not, hit social media and let the public know that the Republicans are in kahoots with the democrats. Post names, get some cash, maybe scrape up a few grassroots movements to get you a handful more seats in the next election.

I don't know man.... I respect your post but I don't know if any of it matters. All of this has played out before and the federal government continues to get worse. Nothing changes if nothing changes. Until a third party(conservative) is strong enough to influence elections, there is no motivation for anything to change in DC.
