Oldest Louisiana Inspection Sticker?

I had a plumber at my house to do some repairs and when he went to leave I was standing by his truck BSing with him and I noticed his inspection sticker had a date of 7/13, almost 10 years expired. He said he's never been stopped or been through any inspection check points so no tickets. He has tint on the windows and said that's the reason he didn't get a new sticker. I told him that his tint doesn't look that dark, a friend of mine has a brand new car with factory tint that doesn't look any darker than his.
What's the oldest expired inspection sticker that you know of?

My dad issues state inspection stickers. As soon as they pull in, he scrapes them off before he even looks at the vehicle. That way, they cant just drive away if he tells them something aint right. He inspected a 1977 Dodge Power Wagon about a year ago. The previous sticker was from 1998. It passed inspection!! It was garage kept and looked very clean and nice

I moved back in 2017, haven’t had one since then. Kept out of state one for a while but now just go no tag. Fixing my windshield will cost more than the ticket, car is too old to waste money on until I get new car

I probably couldn't go one month past due with getting a ticket.

I haven't seen one that old. I usually get mine renewed when they switch to a new color. I think mine expired in Jan.

Mine curled up and fell off about 2 weeks after it was put on.Could have used some of that old style glue they used to use.

Louisiana inspection stickers are theft of the highest magnitude.

I bought and sold a vehicle without ever getting one.
Bought it in 2011 and just sold it. It had some expired new orleans tag on it so I just left it. I assume nobody new what the stickers were.
Another cool story, when I was younger the city cops would always setup an insurance inspection point in the same spot. I drove through that 3 times and the same cop told me next time I was getting a ticket. After the third time, I went and got one.

I’ve never had one stick to the window long enough to be “old.”

One of the many reasons I can't wait to leave this shithole.
Had to get one this month. Went online to see who still does it. Well, I can tell you that you better call the place first and confirm. I went to four places that have online notices that quit doing them recently. Apparently the grift is no longer worth it for many of the stores.
High taxes, extra costs everywhere, and I had to get two new tires recently because of the shitty roads. Busted a belt in two tires when I hit a huge pothole.

I kept one for about seven years, (partially) because it was one of the last of the “good ones”, I think from maybe 2015? Looked just like the day I got it when I went and got it updated when it was time to sell. It seems like the current series is a decent return to quality as well. If I hear they go back to fricking it up, I’ll keep this one forever as well

Truth. And the tickets issued for being out of date. Every time someone introduces legislation to get rid of it, the inspection stations lament of how it will kill their business. Therefore, the sole reason for the existence of this requirement is to keep these stations in business (and the revenue generated from issuing tickets). We could easily increase registration by $40 or so to cover the lost tax revenue.

Mine expired 4/20. Still half stuck on the windshield.
My wife got a new vehicle last September from Texas, still doesn't have a sticker on the window.
