Thanks man. Made it to Santorini today via the SeaJets ferry. World champion jet was HUGE like a mini cruise ship. I can’t recommend Imerovigli highly enough for Santorini. For 250euro /night this may be the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in. Check out the view from our balcony that has a private hot tub.

Hope y’all are having an awesome trip.

A little less than 3 months until we head that way. I cannot wait. And this thread is only building the anticipation.

Also in Santorini currently. Staying in Mesaria which is more centrally located but not as picturesque - more of a neighborhood it seems like.
Santorini has been an easy island to explore with rental cars. Highly recommend Pyrgos Cafe and Metaxi Mas for dinner. Both were delicious with spectacular views.
Can’t recommend the private catamaran sailing tour enough. Great way to spend a day.

Doing that today. They pick us up around 3ish. I’m pumped. We had a blast last night just hanging around the hotel and enjoying the views. We had a nice meal at a little spot in Imerovigli called “let’s eat”. We both just had gyros that were the best I’d ever had. Got hot pepper dip and some feta cheese/oil spread for apps. Our bill was like 26 euros . Wasn’t fancy but very good. Went for a scenic run/hike this AM on that Fira to Oia trail. It runs basically right through our hotel. Breathtaking views. I think it’s a must do for Santorini.

It’s a great time. Make sure to swim in the Aegean. Freezing but worth it. Also if you’re in Oia go by The Boozery at the main entrance behind the church. Great drinks.

One of my favorite days of my entire life was a more than suspect, likely illegal, private boat tour around Andros. The AirBnB went told us to hire his son in law who would take us on his boat, he “come from Crete for you. Many days.”

Everytime a cop/coast guard boat would come by he would tell us to “if they ask you are my American cousins, the EU say we can’t be charter without diesel engine.”

He took us all over, fed us, wined us, took kids snorkeling. A day I hope to remember forever.
