Coming from a 6ers beat writer you know this has to be legit.

Wonder if Morey will try to get DAntoni to coach that team in an attempt to sway Harden to stay?

The southwest division is going to be a bloodbath next season. Looks like Houston will go all in now.

Zion for Embiid, who says yes? As much as many point to Embiid as the optimistic path forward for Zion, Embiid is injured a lot and his injuries played a part in Philly not going further in the playoffs.

Harden is going to want a deal in the 4Y/200M range. A team would be crazy to go for that. But it's possible.

I wouldn't be surprised if they ship out a lot of the players they have now. They should have some value and many may not fit Udoka's system. I thought he leaned more to the tough, physical style with good defense. Not a lot of that on that team..

The Sixers would laugh hysterically and hang up the phone if the Pels called to offer Zion for the league MVP.

Sixers aren't trading Embiid, and Embiid is just like Zion. Always hurt and out of shape. Until he gets his lazy in shape, he's not winning shite.
Jokic recognized he was out of shape, dedicated that offseason to getting in better shape and then he went and won 2, should have been 3 MVP's in a row and he's going to have his team in the Finals this year.

Ok man lol I get it if you don’t like Embiid, but you’re saying the guy who just won MVP is lazy and out of shape?

Did you see Jokic sucking air late in the game yesterday? Dude was completely gassed.

i love Embiid, but the dude has never been in shape, and it's a major reason on top of his injuries why he hasn't come close to winning a championship. He is constantly walking up the court and forcing his team to play half court offense. Jokic on the other hand is pushing the pace and leading the break. Jokic used to be the same way, walking everywhere and forcing his team to always play in the halfcourt, and then he decided to get in shape.

The Pelicans. Clearly.

I’m not sure Zion would fetch Julius Randle at this point.

Still don’t understand Houston reason for possibly doing this. Is it more about ticket sales / national games?

They hired Udoka and he wasn't coming there if they were going to tank. Their draft picks for the next 3 years will be tied up to OKC due to the Westbrook trade. They will also have good draft picks coming back due to the Harden trade to Brooklyn.

They are in a great situation to start winning games. They have no shortage of draft capital and a collection of young talent.
