JFC what a shitshow we have going when Trumpophants ballyhoo a f'n word Trump has to say about spending or debt. Trump spent more in 4 years than any other president in history.

it will be blamed entirely on Republicans.
I have heard this every time it has come to a government shut down or the debt ceiling...
Guess what, the Republicans will get the blame regardless... It is past time to just let it burn...

Abraham Lincoln’s years in the Oval Office saw the largest percentage increase in National Debt under any President, increasing 2859% overall

An issue I can agree with todays version of trump.
The dems win bc the people don’t ever feel the pain from their policies regarding government spending. The rep go along to appease their industrial base including the military
It seems the republicans finally sense the truth.. they will eventually be irrelevant if they can’t get the citizens to feel the pain of these policies. The continued push down the road only benefits the dems at this point.. they’ve gotten really good at using their irresponsibility with debt as a vote buying scheme.

Agree! The Republicans have no leverage because Biden doesn’t mind a default. The Republicans will be blamed if there is a default. He has all the leverage, they have none.

The highest spending president of all time doesn't deserve a say. But keep slurping it up cucks.

Hoping for a default just so you can feel better about Republicans growing a pair is petty and stupid.
Don't put words in my mouth you twit.
I hope for the R's to be successful because a debt deal that also decreases spending is the right thing to do, it has nothing to do with feelings.
And tell me what were the ramifications of the last time the government was "shut down"? A few folks got sent home without pay (which they got back pay for) and they put up caution tape at a few parks.
This panic over a "shut down" is all theater.

You don't have an original thought in your head. Trump isn't sending his best.

So Trump jacks up the national debt, never faces debt ceiling brinksmanship from Congress, yet encourages it with Biden.
