My daughter is 4 weeks old now and is not sleeping at night. She sleeps decently during the day. But when it is time for mom and dad's bedtime, it turns into witching hours.

We have tried every remedy we know of and everyone has given us their recommendations. I rocked her for a couple hours last night, she fed for a while, at 5am I took her for a walk around the neighborhood. We walked 2 miles and finally it put her to sleep. This may be my new go to if the mosquitos will allow it.

When did this get better for you guys? I haven't been this tired in a long time. Feels like I pulled an all nighter studying.

I don't have much advice, but we had a little issue with our 1st child. For us we used Gerber Soothe and had to also find the right formula for her. I want to say we started with Enfamil Gentlease (purple) and then moved to the standard Enfamil Infant (yellow) formula. My wife didn't produce a lot of milk so it was probably 50/50 milk to formula. She also really liked the simple baby swing/rockers. 2nd kid, no issues what so ever.

Seems like every child is different and you have to keep trying several things until they give up or you find the key.

Does she sleep in the car? My son would fall asleep almost instantly when we were driving and wake up right when I turned the car off.
I went for lots of long nighttime road trips to nowhere the first few months.

We have a swing and she loved it 5 minutes when I put it together and then that was over

She does. And I was about to go for a car ride last night. That may be a strategy tonight.

We dealt with this with my daughter. I just walked around holding her while she screamed for a few hours every night. It sucked at the time but it really goes fast and they’re only babies for so long.

Just try to have patience. One day you’ll wish you could go back and hold her at this age again.

This always worked with my son. Luckily, my daughter slept through the night as soon as we got home from the hospital.

I tell myself this the whole time I am up with her. I know it will go by fast, but in the moment, I just want sleep.

I definitely get it. It sucks while it's happening.

Have you tried asking her very politely to sleep?

Both of my kids slept/sleep pretty good. The 9 month old has a mouth full of teeth and is a little difficult. I have a friend whose son had colic. He took him to a chiropractor. He swears it helped.

One of ours had colic about 10 months. At first he would turn into a monster at about 10:30 every night. Changing formulas, bouncing him around, car rides, laying him on my bare stomach, car seat on the washing machine …….it was nightmarish.
For a while.

Good luck man!

That one helped for a few days. I want to go up on the dosage but my wife is hesitant.

My son had it. Have blocked those memories. It was awful then he out grew it.
