Literally everyone has been saying this....Even if he somehow managed to pull out a win, it would cost him in the general with Trump voters and cost him going forward.
1. Best thing for him to do now is get his feet wet.
2. Run a campaign to provide an alternative without going after Trump. Meaning he can just stop at I have the same believes, but I do not have the baggage of Trump and leave it there without the personal attacks.
He will lose, but leave with a chance to move on to 2028.

So you're admitting that Trump supporters are really just fanboys and not ones that want to better the country? We keep hearing from yall how DeSantis supporters won't vote for Trump but then you go and post something like this.

Facts are facts...I'm not saying that everyone will stay home. Say Desantis wins 51-49 if only 2-3% of Trump voters stay home unless they all live in Alabama then Desantis would have no chance.
The sqame is true on the other side, so if 5% of Desantis voters decide they are staying home then it is over.
But the Trump pathway is pretty much set....Plus Trump people feel like he was robbed or at the very least set up from the get go, so he deserves another run.
Just the release of the Durham report proves that the media and establishment was against him since before the election and as much as he got done he always had one hand behind his back.

Didn’t Trump get pissed in April when Kemp and DeSantis started making sure small businesses could survive? I seem to remember Ron being referred to as ‘DeathSantis’ by the media for not shutting everything down like the blue state Governors and Trump bragging about how popular Fauci was and that he was listening to Fauci during the summer.
