Too many, but the F4U Corsair, FM2 Wildcat, F-86 Sabre, F9F Panther, F-8 Crusader, and the flying brick, the F-4 Phantom, with the Phantom likely at the top.

I'm fairly sure this thread was created just so everyone could upvote each other.
However, "danger close" and B-52 do not belong in the same sentence, based on reports from MAC-V SOG guys on SOG Cast.

F-18 Super Hornets are underrated in this thread. Basically the perfect fighter design/redesign. Beautiful aircraft. Can do it all.
A-10, F14s and SR-71 right behind.

Used to perform at Barksdale every year. One of the loudest things I have ever heard.

Mesquito attack aircraft (British) and P-38 lightning.

Warthog. I love the Fighters but the sound of that thing wreaks of a dragon.

One of my favorite things to draw as a kid along with the Ferrari Testarossa and the Lamborghini Countach
ETA: besides penises, of course

SR-71 Blackbird
As a kid I lived on Beal AFB…. I lived on base … when you drove off base ( took a while) … you could look at the horizon and see the airstrip ( (sorta)… never ever saw one in person on base ….except at night when you would see the afterburner (?) kick in….
Was so excited when they actually brought one out for the public to see… also on that base were old cement cells where they kept Japanese (? Asian based on the pictures of the women they would draw)…. They were in shambles but still had wall art ..
That was an amazing AFB to live on as a kid.

Nowadays it's a C-17. My SIL is a C-17 Loadmaster.

soooo many good choices it's hard to pick, but I'll say P-40 Warhawk because of one of earliest memories of the John Wayne movie The Flying Tigers
