What's your favorite military plane ?

Ever since I was a little kid, I always thought the Phantom F4 was the bomb (literally)

It was one of the main players in Vietnam and was used for many years after.

The P40 Warhawk is a close second.

What are yours ?

Kid watching old movies. P-41. Whatever number was a flying Tiger.

Now. Watching whatever is all around Pensacola. They are the newer F-35 or F-18. It’s the f35 that’s had all types of issues correct?

A-10 was mentioned. They are definitely my favorite YouTube carnage videos to watch. I’m a pussy but I’d love to be the guy calling in and watching that thing work. From inside my mobile bunker that then transported me back home safely afterward. Leave all the non pussys behind to do the real work.

I’ve been big into Cold War aviation recently and even though I understand the reason why we have fewer fighter jet models now, it was so much cooler to see how different all the designs were in the 50s-70s. Wish I could have been old enough to see some of those planes flying around. To answer the question, I always thought the F-8 was badass.

F-4 is definitely a classic.
A-10 is the workhorse.
I also like an F-15. Classic yet sleek.

F-4 is also mine. Just a couple of rockets with seats attached basically.
