in Travinski if Morgan is going to stay in LF.
Jones may be good one day, but that day is not now.

I’d rather have Jones figure it out

Travinski should catch. Milazzo should be late game relief and defensive change.

You can forget that this year. Ever since his foul mouth rant after hitting a long HR, he hasn't hit squat.

Morgan needs to go back to 1B. Our pitching is not good enough for us to afford mistakes in the infield.

If you have this lineup, Beloso should be at 1st and Travinski should be the DH

Jones has the 3rd highest fielding percentage on the team, and highest among the staring infield. He has 2 errors all season, fewest among starting infield.

Stats can and are often misleading. He doesn't get an error when he fails to dig a weak throw out of the dirt. Anyone can catch a good throw.

He had a 2 home run game afterwards, didn't he?

No way Trav stops all those pitches in the dirt like Milazzo did. He needs to stay at first.

Ah, yes. So then we’ll sacrifice the clutch hitting/RBIs/power to keep up with the sub-par pitching. Brilliant strategy.

Dude is currently leading the team in BA - higher than Crews and White. Crazy.

Can a DH sub for a catcher if needed?

Travinski is our only other healthy catcher

That would be a double switch, you would essentially pinch hit for milazzo then switch his pinch hitter and Travinski. I might be completely wrong but I think that’s how that works
