Coleman should have pitched longer in this game.

Seriously I have never, ever in my life seen a team like this.
Hitters and sluggers up and down the lineup so no deficit is ever out of reach.
But with the pen, no lead is ever safe either.
It’s confounding.

Dutton warming, collins is standing down there. Not sure why we havent seen him yet
Money with bases empty in the 6th seems like a good decision. At the time.

This BP makes LSU baseball not fun to watch. And it’s a shame. We have generational players that should make this a dream season.

Are these pitches close? Chris and Hunt seem to think so.
Money got squeezed on at least one

Insert Auburn in place of Miss St, and I heard this exact same argument last weekend. Our bullpen is just not sec caliber.
This same staff navigated the first 6 series and didn’t get hit around like they have the last two weekends.
I know our BP has sucked, but Miss St is hitting the ball well too. That’s pretty damned obvious.

This is getting as painful as watching miles's offense.

That’s exactly what Guidry is. We’re beyond that level of desperate already

Said it in another thread, don’t know where you put little. He’s a total liability right now.
He doesn’t need to be on the postseason roster.
I don’t know who you replace him with, but anyone would have to be an improvement.

He looked done. His fastball had dropped to 87-89.

Im fine with money here given the situation and strike zone. But collins shouldve seen the field before little IMO

The fact that Jay and Wes don’t have clear cut roles for these bullpen guys at this point in the season is ridiculous.
The clear cut role is to throw strikes and the bullpen has not been able to do that consistently. Every time they try to give a guy a role they shite the bed.

Hancock up, runner on 1st, 1 out
strike, 0-1
just outside, 1-1
single to right

Can we request non sec umpires for the postseason?

The scary thing is they stuck Little in with the bases loaded. How the hell he got out of there with a strike out is a miracle.
Posted on 5/14/23 at 3:34 pm to TigerNAtux
They’ve all been around the plate. Maybe not strikes, but definitely close.

Is hellmers any better than Little?
