They will win the first game of any series. Teams are gonna hold their ace for second game. Then it's a crap shoot for 2nd and third game

In a regional, we won’t face anyone’s ace. Edit: Brain fart. We will definitely face the #4’s ace. We will have Skenes facing someone else’s 2nd. We truly should be able to win a regional.
In a Super, we possibly could see someone holding their ace for game 2.
but we still have a shot at winning 2 games.
I don’t really like our chances at winning more than 1 game in Omaha if we make it.

And probably not for long with that weak pitching bullpen. It’s going to be tough in regionals and even more difficult in a super regional. Good pitching will beat good hitting every time and we lack depth at most important position. It is and has been an Achilles heel.

It's gonna come down to this. Can they win game 2 or 3 in a super.

If we dont win today and get a game 3 against a terrible sec opponent what makes anyone think we can even win the regional?
Auburn already showed everyone LSU can be beat in a Super. Just have better pitching.
Also flip Crews and Dugas today and see what Crews will do.

I said this early on when we couldn't close out sundays the first 3 weeks of the year. This lineup should almost never lose a sunday game against a teams second tier pitching, unless they have a super staff.

This team needs a miracle to happen with the pitching staff beyond Skenes to even sniff Omaha. Bracing myself for an embarrassing exit at home.

I think there is a pretty good chance of that considering we have lost only 1 series in the toughest conference in America with 1 game and 1 series left. However, I don’t like our chances of winning more than 1 in CWS.
