If you were the Pirates would you go Skenes or Crews?

No right or wrong answer.
To me earlier this year I would have said Crews no doubt but Skenes looks like he could win multiple Cy Young's. I'd have to go with Paul

Skenes. He’s a generational talent.

Pitchers arms are just a risk.
Skenes is a hoss, but he has trouble going deep in games.

Crews
Everyday players just have more team value.

I think that if the Pirates make the playoffs, Skenes would be pitching in the playoffs later this year, he’s that good

The answers you get from this board will be based on what they last saw. Crews has been struggling
But Crews is the answer
But Crews is the answer

Skenes. He can help them this year if they keep winning. The Pirates already have a pretty good center fielder.

You know the average mlb starts is around 4-5 innings. You are so dumb lol

Neither because I'd be too cheap to pay anyone worthwhile.

I’d have to say Crews because he can impact more games playing everyday.

The everyday player is more valuable.
Fans see him every time they show up

I would gamble on Skenes. Just seems like a big, sturdy, durable dude like Gerrit Cole.

What’s easier to find in the Dominican? A hitter/fielder like Crews or a flame throwing starter like Skenes?

I don’t think Crews will be CF in the bigs. He could be, but although Crews is fast, he is not fast for a MLB CF. I guess it depends on which team gets him.

If they continue to both look this strong (I really don’t think they need to prove much else) the pitcher should be taken with the first pitch by a franchise.
