Teaching your 7-year-old to hate. Aren't you special?

Not a problem. They're already used to dodging Hep C and West Nile in BR

Very very cool but I think they should probably start with an EU country like France first
don't know why you're getting downvoted. France, Italy, Spain, etc. would be phenomenal opportunities for our guys to study abroad. When I was in Italy a few years ago, I saw several groups of American college students studying there.

Do you not understand that you're replying to a troll? His 7 yr old son couldn't have hated BK when he was at Cincy because that was more than 7 years ago. That's the joke (it wasn't particularly funny)

I have to think they are using the term “study” very loosely because they are only spending a week there. Sounds to me like these guys are not performing in the classroom and BK wants to show them just how tough some people in the world have it….

Or there is some world-class edge rusher there and this is an incognito recruiting trip…

Not a good assumption. Look at the list of players going...

Javen Nicholas is majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

A couple of those guys aren't good enough to stay on the team if they had academic trouble. This is probably a reward for exceptional performance in the classroom

Isn’t there a spring intercession that’s like 1-2 weeks long? I imagine this is something similar

I have a feeling this is a poke at certain folks on here criticizing anything and everything any Coach they disagree with says or does.

Casamance Region (Senegal) – Level 2: Exercise Increased Caution

There are sporadic reports of armed banditry in the Casamance region.

Landmines from prior conflicts remain a concern in the region.

The U.S. government has limited ability to provide emergency services to U.S. citizens in the Casamance region. U.S. government employees are required to coordinate all travel to the area with security officials and any travel off the main routes generally requires additional security measures (e.g. driving in a caravan of multiple vehicles, consulting local security officials, or carrying personal travel locaters). U.S. government employees are also prohibited from travelling after dark anywhere in the Casamance region.

I'm waiting for the woke crowd to emerge and object "they are traveling to a country that criminalizes LGBwhatsever."

"Same-sex sexual relations are criminalized in Senegal. LGBTI individuals routinely face discrimination. Under Article 319 of the Senegalese criminal code, “unnatural acts” are punishable by imprisonment of one to five years and a fine of fCFA 1,000,000 (USD $2,000). Several high-profile cases of arrest under these laws have occurred."

ETA for the mandatory "This is why A and M will never make a similar trip."

Does Senegal produce baseball pitchers. If so maybe we can work up a trade.

Sounds to me like you are retarded.

See how easy it is to make uninformed statements? The only difference between yours and mine is that mine is probably accurate.

Obviously they aren’t finishing an entire class in a week, but these guys will more than likely learn a lot, experience a different culture, and come back rejuvenated and ready to play ball.

The ability of people on this board to turn a cool thing into something negative is fricking incredible.

Post less.

I hope and think they might come back with a new appreciation of how good they have it compared to most people living on this planet. That goes for all of us on this board also, although you couldn’t tell for all the bitching that goes on about truly insignificant things.
