They just addressed my biggest critique of botw.

Starting to feel a little hyped about this now.

define "easy"

4k and 60 FPS with a budget GPU and a 10 year old CPU. Wii/Wii U/Switch hardware is terribly underpowered.

This is literally the same map as BotW.

I don't think it would have made sense to revamp the map of the surface level. We'll see how much space the floating islands add.

I don't need people Reggi-splaining this to me. And I'm not saying this negates it being a great game, but if some of you want to argue the goat potential of Tears, and this isn't hyperbole, it is the very definition of an expansion of a previous game.

Let's not lower the bar

BOTW is already near the top of the Zelda heap. If this one doesn't exceed the level of BOTW, that would be a disappointment.

Adding dungeons was pretty vital to this game IMO because I feel even the biggest of BotW fans would have quickly come to the point of at least mild disappointment that they were exploring the same areas again, even with the sky islands.

A lot of the BOTW dungeons were good. I don't know why but the one with the tilting platform with the ball maze sticks out.

What is the exact title of the FF game? I played FF very old school. I know I would like updated versions! I also like the Mana series.

I can't wait for a new DQ and or DQBuilders3. These plus TOTK could occupy me for awhile.

I tried the new Tales on Switch it kinda sucked.

Can't say I disagree. I'm pretty excited for some dungeon crawling.

frick yes. My daughter and I are so hyped for this weekend. She put over 800 hours into BOTW so she’s super excited for this one. Our preorders can’t come soon enough.

I took off friday, my boss was like you doing anything cool.

"yeaaa, ummm, gonna ride my bike for 20 or 30, then... nothing great"

He just doesn't understand.

I took Monday off. I have no idea when the game will be delivered and Friday afternoons are pretty easy to avoid any meetings

I blocked the afternoon just in case, but still.

Worst case I can always take PTO or just keep myself in a meeting so my laptop doesn’t lock. I can’t wait!

Very low price point for entry starting at $199 (correct me if I am wrong)

I think it's $200 for just the handheld. I want to play it on my tv.

Same here, I only have 1 call on the books for Friday at 2, so naturally it'll probably be delivered to my door at 1:55

Same except it’s my older two sons. Unfortunately I have to work all day Friday and then travel ball so it’ll be Sunday evening or Monday until I get my hands on it

The review reads like it's from a fan boy but there were parts of it are making me think about reconsidering this.

So if you have a weapon you like, and you fuse a monster part to it to make it stronger and last longer, if you have a collection of those parts in your inventory, you can just keep fusing those to the same sword and basically keep the same one for a while? Am I reading that right?
