Mulvaney Campaign Was "Not An Advertisement"

quote:

The CEO of Bud Light’s parent company blamed online misinformation for the controversy surrounding its marketing with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, in an interview with the Financial Times.
quote:

Michel Doukeris, the CEO of Bud Light parent Anheuser-Busch InBev, told the Financial Times that social media played a major role in fueling controversy about Bud Light’s partnership with Mulvaney: “The reality is no longer what the fact is, but is more about what the comments were.” Doukeris’ interview echoes comments he made during a call with investors on Thursday, when he said Mulvaney’s post “was not an advertisement” and the beer can with her likeness was not intended to be widely produced for sale to the public.
Forbes

"her likeness"

They'll never learn.

They are still either stupid or trying to obfuscate the problem.

The “brand ambassador” status for this shite sack was bad but not fatal.

Their exec taking shots at their customer base while trying to explain why catering to the Alphabet Guild was a good thing was fatal.

Well, what explains their VP of marketing's video?

They're doing damage control.

Dude, you gave a commemorative can to a narcissist who does nothing but post videos of himself all day long. What did you think as going to happen by giving him these cans?

I’m tired of these threads and I don’t drink. Everyone outraged consumes some product or service from companies who are worse, yet only take it out on BL.

Sounds like he should call out Mulvaney then. Because Mulvaney was the one talking about his connection to bud light, as he showed off the can. Either way, bud light was still trying to market to 14 and 15yr olds. Since that's Mulvaney's audience and Mulvaney would obviously brag to his audience about bud light's personalized can..

So either this idiot just can't put the shovel down an walk away

or

He's not acting in the best interest of AB/BL and is using his positions in AB and the CIA to keep the psyop alive.

Moron CEO keeps digging that hole deeper.

Best thing AB can do is shut their pieholes and let time pass. This is essentially free advertising for Miller, Coors, and Yuengling.

How many times and places is he going to say this? It hasn’t worked the last 5 times he’s said it.
