Holy shite, that dude was trying to get me to go get him money at the ATM a couple months back. Talking bout he forgot his wallet and needed to get back to Jackson. It was 5am at the Jefferson/Bluebonnet red light. Came up knocking on my window. He had no clue he had a .40 cal pointed at him

Absolutely. I did the standard “I don’t have cash”. Mofo says “there’s an ATM right there” as he points to the bank on the corner lol. I had never seen him before & after I got to work I even doubted he was lying. He had a polo shirt with a business logo on it, eyeglasses. Looked like he was on his way to work. But then I thought “how you leave your wallet in another state and didn’t go back to get it? Where’s your phone? Your car?” Lol

Bastard caught me in a weak moment at Lowe’s on Siegen about 6 years ago. Gave him a fiver.
He walked 10 steps then hit up another lady. I yelled at the lady that I just gave him some money and that she should ignore him. She did.
3 or 4 years later, the fricker hit me up again in the same parking lot. I told him to frick right off.
He always compliments something you are wearing. He will pretend to be a fan of whatever team’s hat you are wearing.

There’s an Asian dude that runs a similar scam in Burbank, CA. I’ve run into him a couple of times now. Says he’s a pediatric surgeon who came in for a surgery, had his vehicle broken into, now he has nothing and needs help.

It wasn't Kevin but I was at a Denham gas station and a guy gave me a heart tugging story about being out of cash and gas and desperately needed to get to Lafayette (about 75 miles west) where his mom was in the hospital emergency room and could I "pleaaaase help".
His tale almost brought tears to my eyes.
This was when gas was really cheap so I gave a $20. Instead of going into the store to (first) pay for the gas, he jumped into his truck and hit the interstate going east.
I was such a dumbass.
