Good pitching beats good hitting

most of the time. Auburn appears have a vastly superior pitching staff overall than LSU. Easily have shut down supposedly the best offense in college baseball for 3 games in a row. 9 runs in 3 games is pretty dominant against any SEC team. LSU can't approach that sadly.

We are number one in the country and they are scraping by to make the postseason tournament. Once again another shite thread from a shite poster.

Or just possibly that hitting was just off this weekend. It happens even in majors.

LSU pitchers throw balls and are scared.
Except for Skenes and maybe Hurd, this is accurate.

Coastal Carolina says you just need average pitching if you have good hitting.

AU made it to the CWS last year. What’s surprising to me is how average their record is right now. I would expect this team to be well above .500 in the SEC.

and auburn’s overall pitching is arse

Shows how little you know about baseball.

LSU doesn’t have good hitting.
It has great hitting.
It has great hitting.

Bull shite and watch Johnson say EXACTLY this like he did last weekend. He said “it is all about balls and strikes” for wins. It is a fact

And we have only one pitcher that can be relied on.

You know that Hurd has a much worse walks per innings pitched rate than Little right? Hurd not throwing stiles has been his biggest problem.

I stand corrected. Skenes is the only LSU pitcher who isn't scared to throw Strikes. The rest of them know that if they pound the Strike Zone, they will get shelled like the French Army at Verdun.

Auburns pitching is garbage outside of a couple of guys.
We flat out laid an egg this weekend. It happens.
It’s more concerning how inconsistent some of our arms are.

Agree, the most concerning is that we don't have a number 2 pitcher. Floyd is not a starter, but it appears there is no other option. We just don't have consistent shut down pitching beyond Skenes. It shows up most when the bats cool off.

Fact. there appear to be scared to throw strikes and get ahead of hitters....which just aggravates their problem.
