most of the time. Auburn appears have a vastly superior pitching staff overall than LSU

Too bad they do not.

If that were the case, the Braves would have won at least three titles in the 90’s

Results matter. What I saw happened to Dylan Crews this weekend told me everything that I needed to know about Auburn’s pitching. They were throwing strikes with multiple pitches. It always seem like our hitters were behind 0–2.
When that happens, you’re less aggressive and Johnson’s offense isn’t designed to be less aggressive.

I would say auburns pitching was much better than LSU this weekend considering they lost the first game 3-0, and won the next two.

You guys only look at the whole years worth of stat instead of focusing on how a team is presently playing. They beat South Carolina two out of three at South Carolina last week. They beat LSU two out of three this week at Auburn. If anything has change, it has been their pitching.

yes they do. Over an entire season lol. Does Vandy not have a better team than Bama? Is Texas A&M now better than Florida? Is USC one of the worst teams in the SEC now for getting swept by Kentucky? Baseball doesn’t work looking at one series at a time.

We are number one in the country

Doesn’t mean jack fricking shite when outside of our ace we’re walking 7 a game and have an ERA of almost 8 in SEC play. Everyone keeps touting that #1 acting like our pitching staff isn’t a massive flaw. That #1 isn’t gonna do anything for us in the tourney except for provide home field advantage. We’re gonna have to bear down and throw some fricking strikes and it looks like they can’t do that

Ole Miss 2022 says “HI” LSU 2017 and every run CPM made late says “Hi”.

It isn’t about how well you play in April and mid May as it is in late May and June. Auburn made this same kind of run last year.
