Never. Same for Michelob.

Never.

It's not a boycott.
Imagine Hersey's got caught adding human feces to their chocolate bars... No one is going to eat them anymore. Even if they fix the problem, certify the fix with experts and advertise.
The brand will have been damaged
A-B has permanently damaged any brand with "Bud" attached to it. The non Bud brands will bounce back, but these brands won't.

The fact the lady that called me an “out of touch fratstar” still has a job tells me there really is zero chance of me going back.
And I have been a loyal bud light drinker since the 80’s.
I have already grown accustomed to Yuengling.

I don't drink Bud Light, but I would imagine they'll need to really go over the top redneck patriotic to ever have a shot of decent sales again.
Like, sponsor Kid Rock shooting up a Prius filled with hipster craft beer, on the 4th of July, with a red, white, and blue AR-15, while an eagle circles over head pooping on a Chinese flag. Chicks in bikinis wrestling in kiddie pools of Bud Light?

The hatred of gays is stronger than the love of beer.

America deserves a better option of generic beer.
I've said that since high-school, everyone was always about budlight. You had to drink too much of it to catch a buzz, thats why I turned to stouts and porters.
Or Jager

If you are an avid beer drinker and you were boycotting Bud Light, that means you've now tried another brand that is better.
No going back f*ck em!

They could start making better beer but I question if even that would be enough.

Consequences will never be the same for Bud Light.

1) Fire everyone remotely involved with this - from the CEO to the courier that brought the specs for the can to the printer.
2) Renounce any and all ESG related actions and policies, including DEI.
3) Announce InBev and all of its brands will not take any positions on political issues and will not sponsor any such activities.
4) Admit they screwed up and they are sorry.

Weird thing is other corporations are joining them. I believe it's called mass suicide.

There's no recovering.
Once the market checks out other brands, they'll stick with them.
Also AB screws over microbrews. This is like watching Microsoft tumble.

i know you are just trolling, but i'll play the game
first answer this question, why should someone buy AB vs any other beer out there when AB is the worst tasting?

I never drank it in the first place because it tastes terrible.

I worked today in an HEB in Montgomery County TX doing beer sampling.
The beer manager told me his Bud Light sales for his store were down over 300% (maybe he meant 30%) and he still had cases that were still in stock from Easter. He said Texas sales are down over 20%.
I worked for 3 hours today and did not see a single cart with Bud Light in them.
This thing has major legs.

If they resurrected Real Men of Genius and made it about how dumb the PR executive was, and then maybe a few more playing off of that campaign, maybe.

Bud light might never recover as it is currently branded.
I laugh at so many of the responses in this thread. Most of the responses are from the occasional/casual beer drinker. The typical Bud Light drinker doesn’t sit down with one or two out of a six pack. It’s a 6/12 pack at a time guy.
The regular BL drinker will move on to another light beer.
