They Are Coming for Your Propane Crawfish Burners

A new Biden administration rule on cooking appliances would effectively ban half of the propane crawfish burners on the U.S. market from being sold, according to an Energy Department projection.
In an analysis published earlier this month, President Joe Biden's Energy Department acknowledged that roughly half of all crawfish burners on the U.S. market today would not meet its proposed cooking appliance efficiency regulations, T&A News reported Friday. As a result, those crawfish burners would not be eligible for purchase. Still, Energy Department spokesman Dorkmon Blitz dismissed concerns over the proposal, saying half the crawfish burner market "would remain if this standard is finalized as proposed."
The Association of Crawfish Burner Manufacturers is arguing that the proposed rule would prohibit a much larger proportion of crawfish burners from being sold. Association vice president Remy Bourque pointed to a December Energy Department test of 21 propane crawfish burner models—all but one of those models failed to meet the proposed rule's efficiency standards, prompting charges that the rule would actually nullify 96 percent of the propane crawfish burner market.
"It's like they in such a f***ing rush to ban these things, and they trying to cover they f***ing tracks," Bourque told T&A. "But they not doing a good job of it. We never seen this level of sh**ty analysis from DOE before." The Energy Department called Bourque’s allegations “misleading.”

So many plant baws can easily weld a jet burner, they’ll be selling them on the side of the road with strawberries.

Cajun baws would just run to the local Ace plumbing section, buy a few 1” pipe nipples and fittings and make homemade burners.

Its about control. If you can have a large tank of propane at your home and use it whenever you wish.
They want everyone dependent on electricity which they can turn off whenever they want. Dont stay home during the next plandemic, say something negative about the President, or whatever... you are sitting in the dark.
Or someone could release an EMP and large portions of this country are screwed.

Does >50% of the country really just absolutely love the idea that government overlords will meddle in literally every single aspect of our day to day existence without end?
I’ve always found that a difficult thing to fathom.

If Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo overturns Chevron, won't a move like this be forced to go through congress?

Logically one would think so. But I said logically.

It won't stop there. Sure we can pretty easily make a jet burner and attach to an existing burner or make a stand yourself. But it is the principle of the matter. We shouldn't just blow this off because we can make our own. They take this, then it is the gas BBQ grills. Then it is the smokers, wood burning fireplaces, etc etc.

These evil tyrants need to leave our appliances alone.

And they say: “be scared of Trump, he want to be a tyrant!”. They are the ones that need to be stopped.

Best one I ever used was homemade from an old truck rim.
30 minutes on YouTube, and a good regulator, and anybody with a set of tools can make one
