eta-There's a house local to me that was redone on one of those shows years ago. Everything was done half arse but it was still an improvement as the house was a shithole when they started.

I like this idea. Show the crew meeting up at the Home Depot parking lot in the morning. Then hitting the taco truck. Some manufactured drama when someone doesn’t show up.. did Jose get deported again? Or just another drunk and disorderly. Compelling TV.

I was thinking more along the lines of them having to deal with the demands of the "renovators", their opinions on the work, and yeah some of the day-2-day.

Reminds me of the old Trading Spaces reveal disasters when the designers seemed to just want to piss off the homeowners to show them who’s boss.
