Cash, Waylon, DAC, George Jones could perform after a bender. Or during one. Pretty sure DAC still performs live drunk off his arse

Morgan Wallen

Hank Jr played many times drunk off his arse.

Inside Edition said Wallen was so drunk they had to call a amblance for him.

Waylon did a show

until a 1984 show in Portland, Oregon, when he mumbled his way through just a few songs and stumbled off the stage to a chorus of boos.

Well, he canceled the rest of that tour and holed up in Arizona to get clean so.....I don't give a shite about wallen but plenty of old school country singers missed gigs because they were drunk or high. Hank sr, George Jones, Townes, Tom T Hall....

Dale Watson purposely gets wasted at every show and manages to put on a great one. He wrote this song about Wallen before he was born.

It’s sad to know that Wallen’s the sorry motherfricker who ended Metallica’s long run of having albums debut at number one on the Billboard charts.

The mighty Alcoholica was never too drunk to play a gig.

I don't personally know Luke Bryan or Morgan Wallen, but I think this statement truly calls for a contest between the two. Loser leaves town.

Or we taking odds?

If Wallen had Waylon's drug dealers he'd still be singing his arse off

Bocephus might have still "shown up", but he didn't really perform.

The last time I saw him (in 2004) he stormed off the stage for seemingly no reason about 10 minutes into the show.

This thread is stupid. A lot of them always were dysfunctional maniacs.

Very true. People love and celebrate the same behavior as "real" for the old guard.
