Its less about jones foe me and more the cumulative lack of defense for the team as a whole when he is at 1st

Whatever lineup you can create without Jones at 1B absolutely blows.

He’s been more than adequate all season.

Nice and clean for Herring to go three full in relief. Bullpen still fresh.

I think Herring is your Sunday starter soon, depending on Coleman’s progression

Nah. He’s nails out of the pen. I prefer that than sweating Little closing it out.

The Skenes Herring combo keeps teams playing the series from behind and doesn’t waste Skenes starts

True, but Ack is coming back and Coleman can give some solid relief innings too

now I know the OM scorer doesn't know WTF he or she is doing

I know the stat program the NCAA uses (StatCrew) very well... and... let's just say he or she didn't input the game's final play correctly just by looking at the wording of the live stats PBP

how the scorer input it...
Batter - L4
Runner - 43

how it SHOULD be input...
Batter - L43 DP
Runner - X

the incorrect input robs LSU of a double play b/c the scorer doesn't know what he or she is doing

Brighter days are ahead especially if we can continue getting quality innings like we did tonight from Herring...hopefully Coleman and others... I was pleasantly surprised to see Little carry a no no into the 4th before the wheels came off

Back-to-back mediocre games from the offense

Says the motherfricker on a Friday night in SEC play.

7 runs would have beat everyone in the conference tonight.
