Did Jones chase down pitcher after the game over and won?

Also did Reese not say anything similar to any Iowa player during the game itself or even after it? She wouldn’t be much of a trash talker if she didn’t talk trash during the game.

Raw intense emotion shown right in the moment including some choice words and then moving on to continue playing happens all time in sports.

I would bet Reese showed some similar displays of intensity towards opponents in various moments during the actual game which did not get called out by fans. Chasing down an opponent after you have not only won the game but won the national championship game seems different.

Bringing up WBB in a baseball thread ought to be bannable.

You are attacking a board, which has no opinions. Individuals have opinions. Mine is that both Reese and Jones behaved badly. In Jones' case it was leavened by the circumstances and that it was very funny. In Reese's case it was leavened by the championship. But both were poor manners. And don't give me a bunch of baloney about never having competed. Competitors are just as subject to the strictures of etiquette as everyone else. These are two more examples of the shredding of the moral fabric that was a requisite for national greatness, which will follow our manners down the drain.

ETA: Dylan Crews and Tre Morgan have competed in sports, and you won't find them behaving that way.
