Feels like these other teams, as long as they don’t face plant they get consistent 9.9. LSU is consistent 9.8. Thomas for Florida was bent over and had to swing arms to not fall on face and was easily over 9.9. Judging for this sport is all about hype and reputation.

She may be the best coach but for me kj is killing the sport of college gym. Bare minimum, easiest gymnastics wins the day. That sux! It needs to be a mix of difficulty and perfection. Some of their 2 pass routines aren’t even e passes.

I don’t disagree, but this is a NCAA issue to address. She is coaching to the code and rules implemented
Until the ncaa adjust the rules this is how it’s going to be

Had to go back and see if I typed that. Nope. Of course I don’t root for Bama. What I did say was that Bama winning is old news. But if it’s not us, I’d rather it be Bama than, say, Florida or Auburn. And today I’m glad it was OU and not Florida for sure!

You must be new. LSU Gym has not always been a big deal and they have had several opportunities over the last 7-8 years, but have run into the buzzsaw of OU/Florida.

Misfortune of being a great team and Oklahoma being just a shade better for three seasons. LSU would have won about 80% of the national titles of the prior 30 years with the scores they had.

I really feel bad for Livvy Dunne now. Got screwed out of a title by inconsistent judging AND I haven’t banged her. What a rough go at it for her.
