LSU doesn’t do themselves any favors with some of their routines. Look at some of our dismounts compared to the simple, clean ones OU does. We give away so much in just dismounts. It’s stupid.

Well I think back to Thursday when she stuck her first pass to two feet and nailed the 2nd and final pass. Where else was the deduction? She scored below Aleah. Her landings were just as solid. It had to be on leaps. The other option is that her performance quality isn’t up there with Aleah but that’s not usually much of a deduction, if any, in NCAA.

OU is simply consistent on Vault and Floor, but excel on Bars and Beam. 49.6375 on Bars and 49.5125 on Beam. Some of that has to do with the color of the leo, but they don't give anything away. That is the difference.

Some over scores aside
Kj is the best coach in the country and it’s not close. She has perfected the system of maximizing her teams scores across the board from routine construction to presentation. Every single year they do it in and out
Jay should be commended for the job he has done this year. Finally going back in the right direction. I still think we have to go to the drawing board with some of these routines. We are not maximizing our scores on certain events and have skills in routines kids can’t hit very often. Got to adapt

It’s just ridiculous. They’ve shown other teams (mostly Florida) just standing around this rotation while vaults are obviously going on.

We’re seeing fluff pieces on other gymnasts…yet not a single LSU vault.
