I know that the weekend series are more important but I always found it embarrassing losing to in-state teams and having close games on a regular basis during the mid weeks. LSU isn’t just winning them but doing it in convincing fashion on a weekly basis.

I misread this at first because I keep refreshing to see if this week’s games will be moved around.

Not a bash Mainieri post, but we squeaked out multiple midweek games on a yearly basis, even dropping some in astounding fashion.

Before this year there were only a handful of games a year that were subject to the possibility of a 10 run rule.

I remember when LSU went undefeated in midweek games and people still complained about losing midweek games.

It's impossible to bet on LSU in these games because they keep run ruling teams, voiding the run line bets.

People who say midweek games are meaningless are losers. If they were meaningless, we wouldnt play them.

We did go undefeated in midweek games one year but I don't think it was his last year.

Moscona doesn't know his arse from his elbow unless someone spells it out for him.

So, I did a little research. So far this year, LSU is 7-0 in midweek games with 3 "run-rule" games (could have been 4 but the fighting Blake Dean's allowed us to play a full game).

In those 7 games, LSU has scored 85 total runs (12.14/game) to their opponents' 17 total runs (2.43/game).

Also, two of those wins were shutouts.

Dominating ballclub is dominant.
