Nope, I really dislike mint flavored anything (including ice cream) so I don't see that on my experiment list

Made some extra Vanilla PB and left in the freezer. Not recommended. I now have a delicious looking rock.

How does the texture come out in the non Ninja ice cream makers? I never had luck in the past getting something that wasn't very icy when working with low fat and low sugar ingredients. Thats the main reason I'm blown away with what this Ninja can turn into pure creamy bliss

With the xanthan gum you said it perfectly, frozen pudding. I haven't tried it without XG yet.

Well my wife was asking for one of these this weekend, and like you, I scoffed at the idea of another thing in the kitchen, but this thread is making me rethink that position.

When you're posting calories, that's a pint right?

Yes, that is the entire container which measures out to roughly a pint of ice cream

Like several other guys in this thread, I had never heard of this thing until your post. Have you tried any dairy free (I have a kid with a dairy allergy)?

Which protein powders are you using? What pudding mixes?

I have not, I like the extra protein skim milk brings. However, plenty of people using Creamis use almond milk as their base.

Which protein powders are you using?
Depends on the flavor but either a whey concentrate or isolate. Usually its Dynatize

quote:

What pudding mixes?
Any sugar free - Jello is the brand name but I've used Great Value with no difference in quality

Have never tried leftovers, usually mine are low calorie enough that I eat the whole pint or share with my wife. I have read that refreezing the ice cream does not yield very good leftovers (texture wise)

I treat mine like a brand new ice cream. Add a little more protein shake to it and run it through the machine. Ice cream setting once. Re-spin 2x’s.

Just want to say that this thread is an absolute game changer.

I was about the buy a Ninja when my girlfriend told me she had a Cuisinart ice cream maker.

Just winged it on a recipe and it’s amazing, tastes just like a Wendy’s frosty like the guy said above.

I did:
- 8oz Fairlife Chocolate
- 1 Scoop BPN Nutter Butter Whey
- 2T PB Powder
- 1t Vanilla extract

Tasted amazing and should be about 320 calories

Kept the same 230 cal and 45 protein vanilla base of:
12oz skim Fairlife milk
1 scoop vanilla whey protein
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbs vanilla pudding mix
1 tsp Jordan's Skinny Syrups Salted Caramel Sugar Free
Pinch salt

Then added 16 of these (130 cal 2 protein):

Wife and I both agree it’s the best version yet. The saltiness and crunchiness of the pretzels along with the cinnamon sugar pairs so well with the vanilla base.
