I cannot recommend this appliance enough if you have a sweet tooth and/or are looking to get more protein in your diet. I have told myself for years I do not need another kitchen appliance but finally broke down and got this a couple weeks ago. Incredibly pleased thus far. I have a bad sweet tooth and this has allowed me to cut out my evening pantry raiding while also boosting my protein intake.

I have been experimenting with textures and flavors but here are some recipes so far I have tried (and my rating for them with macros)

Note that all of these recipes below smash the socks off of low calorie pints from the store in all 3 categories - taste, cost, and macros. There is just no comparison how much better these are than something like a Halo-top.

5/28 Update - now that I've made a bunch of different recipes I went back and adjusted some of the ratings. Early on I thought I like my initial recipes a lot more but now that I have started perfecting them, I realize those early recipes were lacking. Still note that all of these beat low cal ice cream from the grocery.

Chocolate version 1
1 Fairlife chocolate protein shake
1 scoop choc protein powder
1 tbs cheesecake pudding mix
2 tbs stevia
1/4 tsp xanthan gum
Pinch salt
Mix in- sugar free chocolate chips
Rating 6/10 - texture of gelato, decently strong artificial taste
300 calories 55 protein

Chocolate version 2
1 Fairlife chocolate protein shake
1 scoop chocolate protein
1 tbs chocolate pudding mix
Pinch salt
Mix in- none
Rating 9/10- tasted identical to basic chocolate ice cream, wife and kid loved it. No artificial taste
250 calories 55 protein

Strawberry
1 Fairlife strawberry protein shake
1 scoop strawberry protein powder
1 tbs cheesecake pudding mix
2 tbs stevia
1/4 tsp xanthan gum
Pinch salt
Mix in- granola
Rating 6/10 - would do less stevia next time
325 calories 55 protein

Apple pie
2/3 cup sugar free apple pie filling
10oz skim Fairlife
1 tbs vanilla pudding mix
1 tbs maple syrup
1 scoop unflavored whey
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch salt
Mix ins- 3 small crushed shortbread cookies
Rating 7/10
Notes: less artificial tastes, texture more like ice cream instead of gelato.
310 calories 41 protein

Cookies & Cream Peanut Butter
1/4 cup "Nuts N More" C&C PB powder
12oz skim fairlife
1 scoop vanilla protein
1 tbs sugar free vanilla pudding mix
pinch salt
Mix ins- 4 "High Key" keto cookies
Rating 11/10 - holy cow I don't know how this will be beat in a low-ish cal high protein ice cream. I may stop experimenting and just eat this everyday. Even without the cookies I would still give this a 9.7/10 and it would be 70 fewer calories. Tastes like a 1000 calories pint.
400 calories 55 protein

Vanilla Peanut Butter
1/4 cup peanut butter powder
12oz skim fairlife
1 scoop vanilla protein
1 tbs sugar free vanilla pudding mix
pinch salt
Mix ins- 2 chopped bite size butterfinger
Rating 11.5/10 - I have no clue how this is possible with skim milk as the base. Tasted like a butterfinger blizzard from Dairy Queen. You could throw that in a pint with Ben and Jerry’s listed on it and I’d have no idea it wasn’t 1000 calories.
380 calories 60 protein

Vanilla Version 1
11oz skim Fairlife milk
1 scoop unflavored whey protein
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbs vanilla pudding mix
2 tbs stevia
1/4 tsp xanthan gum
Pinch salt
Mix ins- 3 paw patrol animal crackers
Rating 7.5/10 - would do less stevia and swap vanilla protein for the unflavored next time
250 calories 45 protein

Vanilla Version 2
12oz skim Fairlife milk
1 scoop vanilla whey protein
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbs vanilla pudding mix
1 tsp Jordan's Skinny Syrups Salted Caramel Sugar Free
Pinch salt
Mix ins- 60 calories worth of High Key keto cookies
Rating 10/10 - Minus the mix ins, this will be the go-to base for pretty much all of my pints going forward. The low calorie base allows more flexibility for different mix ins and the vanilla ice cream alone is worth diving into by itself.
290 calories 48 protein

Vanilla Version 3
4oz skim Fairlife milk
1/2 can evaporated milk
2 tbs goat milk powder
1 scoop vanilla whey protein
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbs sugar free white chocolate pudding mix
Pinch salt
Mix ins- None
Rating 11/10 - This base is far superior than any other base I've made but it is also much higher in calories. By far the creamiest and fattiest texture of any mix I've made as well. Tasted like real high fat vanilla with zero artificial taste. Fully planned on mixing in some of my kid's animal crackers but it tasted so good by itself I figured I'd save the calories. With mix-ins this would definitely be the highest rated of any pint I've made thus far
425 calories 34 protein

Ingredient notes
- Xanthan gum ends up giving it a gelato texture - ridiculously creamy to the point of being essentially frozen pudding. If you are looking for more of an ice cream texture, remove it.
- I started off following some online recipes using 2 tbs of stevia - I would not recommend more than 1 tbs as the artificial taste comes through pretty thick

My brother started pushing this to me over the weekend - I can't afford it, but it looks pretty cool

This is very interesting. What about monk fruit rather than stevia. I’m assuming you are using that granulated stevia and I agree, very artificial tasting

Haven’t tried mink fruit yet but it’s on my list of things I’d like to experiment with. Yes the granulated stevia was too artificial tasting but to be honest, these recipes really don’t need it. The ice cream texture tricks your brain into thinking it’s much sweeter than it really is

How big is that serving? I could do half that at night before bed and sleep happily. I don't think I could handle something that's 400 cals and only 3/4 cup

I'd assume it's for the entire pint.

I need a new rating system for these lately bc they are blowing past a 10/10 when comparing to the early recipes…

Vanilla Peanut Butter
1/4 cup peanut butter powder
12oz skim fairlife
1 scoop vanilla protein
1 tbs sugar free vanilla pudding mix
pinch salt
Mix ins- 2 chopped bite size butterfinger
Rating 11.5/10 - I have no clue how this is possible with skim milk as the base. Tasted like a butterfinger blizzard from Dairy Queen. You could throw that in a pint with Ben and Jerry’s listed on it and I’d have no idea it wasn’t 1000 calories.

I was thinking what if you cut the PB powder and vanilla powder and used the ghost nutter butter whey instead. A buddy let me try some of his whey and my first thought was that it would be excellent as I’ve cream

Would probably have a similar taste with more protein. I only have plain, chocolate, and vanilla protein to do in my recipes.

I’d love for this to be a thread where others share recipes that you try out so feel free to post one and your thoughts on it (if you have a Creami obviously)

I went the Vanilla PB tonight with some slight changes.

I used a scoop of whey vanilla ice cream flavor
1/4 cup of PB powder
1 tbsp of sugar free vanilla pudding mix
12 oz of skim fairlife
1 tbsp of monk fruit
1 tbsp of xanthan gum
pinch of salt

No mix ins. I don't have a ninja creami, but we do have some cheap amazon ice cream maker and it made it in 5 mins. Only thing I didn't like was it froze on the edges so I had to thaw it and scrape the rest out, but that's my machines problem. Other than that, it was amazing.

Those recipes look awesome. I have a Cuisinart ice cream maker and will need to try some of these. Mine is a 1.5 qt, so I'll need to modify it a little. Thanks.

I’m doing this a few times per week with the Fairlife protein shakes. Topped with a little banana.

I’ll have to try some of these recipes.

Sorry to let you down, not creampies.

New recipe - so far the unanimous best according to myself and my wife:

Vanilla

12oz skim Fairlife milk
1 scoop vanilla whey protein
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbs vanilla pudding mix
1 tsp Jordan's Skinny Syrups Salted Caramel Sugar Free
Pinch salt
Mix ins- 60 calories worth of High Key keto cookies
Rating 12/10 - Definitely the best so far in terms of taste (zero artificial taste) and consistency. Minus the mix ins, this will be the go-to base for pretty much all of my pints going forward. The low calorie base allows more flexibility for different mix ins and the vanilla ice cream alone is worth diving into by itself.
