"Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?
Warning: The use or possession of marijuana remains unlawful under Federal law regardless of whether it has been legalized or decriminalized
for medicinal or recreational purposes in the state where you reside."

Seems pretty clear cut. No need to call anyone an asshat when they are relating facts.

Also note the Warning section is in bold, for a reason.

Well since marijuana makes people violent

What? There is scientific evidence marijuana is liked to psychotic behavior. But outright violence? I’ll need you to show your work before I buy that.

I disagree. OP says if you have a medical marijuana card you can’t own a firearm. Possessing a prescription or card does not mean you possess, use, or are addicted to marijuana.

You would have to make an assumption those with a card always have or use marijuana. Prescriptions and “cards” aren’t made out of weed bruh

It asks if you have illegally purchased or used drugs etc. So, I answered honestly you arse hat

With your continued qualifications let's work through it:

Have you ever used your MJ card to buy weed? Did you use it?

If your answer is yes then you have illegally purchased weed as far as the 4473 is concerned. If you answered no on the 4473 to that question after buying and using MJ with the card then you falsified the form.

It is indeed possible to have a card and never used it.

Marijuana advocates should take note that all those states allowing weed sure don't seem keen on letting you have a Second Amendment.
We have legal weed and constitutional carry here.

It's not just the west coast and CO anymore.

Been saying since all this started. They will use mental illness to take away guns. And they pulled a smart one on the medical marijuana folks. People lined up to say they had a mental illness to get weed.

I guess I missed the marijuana clause in the second amendment, where does it abrogate "shall not be infringed"?

That isn't what 4473 asks.
