Ole miss road
Bama road
Florida after bama

Those three games define our season should win the rest though of course upsets are possible.

that's not such an advantage, we weren't prepared, didn't really have a "team" at that point and got slapped around for over three quarters, still almost pulled it out

We had a brand new coaching staff, new QB, tons of new talent up and down both sides of the ball, and we still almost won.

that's kind of what I was saying

ETA: but don't get me started about how pissed I was at O/Woody because we'd fallen so far so fast

Back to back road games @ Ole Miss and @ Mizzou kind of worries me. Mizzou gave UGA some trouble in Columbia last year and it's sandwiched between Ole Miss and Auburn.

Also Army kinda worries me. I don't think we'll lose but I hate playing a triple option team smack dab in the middle of the season, that could end up being closer than some think. Luckily Kelly has some history with it playing Navy every year so that makes me feel better.

At least those are the games that I look at that most other fans would look at and probably think they're easy wins, but in the context of the season might be more trouble than we think

@ Mizzou could be tricky too. They should have beat UGA in Columbia last year.

I’m just glad we aren’t playing Arkansas in November anymore.

Not sure what you mean by this. Fayetteville in the fall makes for one of the better SEC road trips.

It's not warranted at this point either.

I get going into Tusc is hard and we have some questions that need to be answered (really the back end of our d) but they lost all their high end playmakers (gibbs, young, anderson) and milroe is underwhelming, middle of the pack SEC qb maybe.

UF right after playing Bama is an even bigger trap.

Wouldn't UF be the hangover game coming off of the Bama game. Always assumed "trap game" referred to a game in which you look past the opponent you are currently playing to focus on the next game.

Then you weren't there last year. Sun was out and it never got over 30 degrees. I'm glad it's not in November anymore. I live up here and they always get up for LSU. We're their rival even though the SEC has taken away some of the luster.

You think they’ll get caught looking ahead to the Missouri game?

Last year of the annual UF tilt and rhe series is tied up 33-33-3.

Yea we’ll play again; just not annually.

Week 2: Sept. 9 vs. Grambling
Another rare opportunity to watch an entertaing half-time show.

One of these should be on the schedule every season just for their Band coming to Tiger Stadium and waking up the crowd at the Half.

Southern/Grambling. (Or any other SWAC school)
Southern Mississippi.
Troy (State)
JACKSONVILLE STATE! (The best there is!)

Make half-times in Tiger Stadium great again!

My biggest concern here is

Week 5: Sept. 30 at Ole Miss

If Kiffin can get an even average defense, he can win 9 games there consistently. He needs to get a veteran DC and hit the portal hard on that side of the ball.

Checkout his recruiting the last few years though. He is not bringing in talent
