What did I lie about?
He didn't just play the first series against southern and I posted facts proving it. Unless you think lsu's 1st series was 5 minutes left in 1st quarter

He didn't just sit out. Have you not read up on any of this shite? Do you just read the rant and think he was sitting because it was a meaningless game.

Just solidifies that he should have been advised to not run at the combine.

Or advised to stay in school.

Possession receivers, sure, but he’s supposed to be the “take the top off the defense” WR. He’s also only 5’11 195 lbs.

You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. His 4.5 really isn’t as much of an issue as the 29” vertical.

4.5 = possession receiver

He wasn’t the only one who missed that game and im pretty sure it was reported he had the flu

Love all the “HeS gOinG uNdRafTeD” predictions. Typical rantards

He was targeted a LOT early on

No he wasn't. They literally had to put him in the slot so JD could find him.
You all just create narratives.
People were talking about his drops early on. You don't get multiple drops a game without being targeted.
So the offense moved on, and Nabers became the primary target. By midseason, his targets had dropped, because there was no confidence in him.

I hate to be mean and put a kid down but its starting to seem like he doesn't have a lot going on between his ears. He definitely lacks self awareness but misstep after misstep makes it seem like he may not be very bright and is having a hard time being "on his own" so to speak.

Either that or he’s got someone in his ear who has no idea what they’re doing. His draft stock is going up in flames faster than the Hindenburg.

He was targeted twice against Auburn.
There is a reason they started running sweeps with him and it's not because he was getting targeted in the passing game enough.

There’s a better chance of me finding a briefcase full of 100 dollar bills on the side of I10 today than him going undrafted.

How would staying in school improve his forty time?
When he was catching passes from a reliable QB, he was reliable.
We will see.

Lazy unmotivated self centered yet coaches gave him jersey number signifying leadership and he is on tape blocking his arse off all season.

Just regurgitated rant generated myths that aren't backed up by any of coaches comments or actions.

Wishing ill will on a young man bevause they didnt reach your subjective standard is mind blowing to me.

Boutte and every single member of the 2022 lsu team has given more to lsu football on a Wednesday during the off season that anyone in this thread ever will.

I've got no dog in this fight, but Boutte doesn't seem to have any fight in the dog

I assume it all goes back to the ankle/foot fracture

His greatest asset was his exceptional speed, which he doesn't have anymore

When looking at the intangibles, not including the off field stuff, I saw him blowing off his QB on more than one occasion

But I don't draft for the NFL or pay anybody to play in it, so he's got that going for him

I mean this was pretty widely reported in the Summer of 2022

"He's a great player. He's a good kid. But this has been a rough spot for him," Kelly said in March. "And what happens is you tend to get distracted because you're not involved in everything. But he's learning you got to be involved with everything whether you're injured or not."

"I don't normally send messages in the media to players," Kelly said. "I usually talk to them, but I didn't know him very well. So it was the best way for me to kind of get his attention."

And he was then given #7 by the coaches AFTER that. I'm not saying he didn't regress nor am I saying he isnt responsible for the regression. I'm just saying the coaches gave him #7,said he was bought in,and we saw him blocking his arse off all year. IMO that's not the sign of a selfish player. Him not running at the proday is pretty wild though.

You seem very invested in the guy so where do you see him going in the draft?
