You need to learn that you make plans based on what you know. We KNEW we could get all 3 games in doing an early start Friday and a double header yesterday. Taking the chance of changing nothing would have been a mistake. Get over it.

100% this. We played three game weekend series in great weather.

Where is the downside op is bitching about?

the same could be said with the original time slots, but instead thousands were inconvenienced

People were killed in the storms and you’re mad about a minor inconvenience about moving up a couple of baseball games. I think you need some perspective.

It definitely rained in the Baton Rouge area Friday when the scheduled game would have been played.

Again, you’re talking about an event 200 miles away

Since you can’t I’ll help with the critical thinking:

Upside: people have a game to watch today
Downside: the game gets cancelled

Well that’s an easy decision. Double header on Saturday.

It was a passing shower. I remember when we used to play through that

so we should move games for bad weather in northern mississippi?

How can some people live life this stupid

I thought we had some of the dumbest fans when it comes to sports but I guess we just have some of the dumbest fans in general.

But there was lightning in the area. The game probably would have been delayed.

Considering the fact our Tennessee game is on Thursday (a day ahead of normal)..

The weather just MAY have been the grand excuse to finish the series on Sat (a day ahead of normal).

Though I doubt this was the thought process. It all worked out.

It amazes me we are fresh off a 26-7 smackdown of a top 5 team at home and weirdos here still find something to bitch about.

Truly incredible.

The question and situation has been answered and explained to you already. I’m just commenting about how ignorant you are.

The LSU athletic office contracts with a meteorologist, for all sports, for weather forecasts. And as much as CJJ is known for details, safe to assume he uses the forecasts of a weather professional. And, as well, he has to work with the opposing team's HC...he does have control over the game times but he, and all the other sports' coaches, do work with the other HC's. We just took 2 out 3 from the #3 team in the country & the OP is bitching about the weather.

That weather was part of the same weather system. If you’ve ever followed a weather system, you’ll know that pop up tornadoes and storms happen along the entire front. It ended up making major damage away from BR, but don’t believe there was no potential of that happening in BR. Way too many things go into a game to risk that.

I agree. Imagine if Friday night in the forth inning Skenes was dealing and the game suspended till Saturday. I think it worked out well.

Both Friday and Sunday games that were moved look like we could have played in the original time window. Need to realize the forecast will be showing rain days in advance a lot this spring but we shouldn’t be moving the games til the day of when we are 100% sure it’ll be a washout
Yes, we definitely should have waited until this morning to decide if we should play today’s game yesterday.
