I remember now why I got frustrated with this show. The most luxurious setting ever, billions of dollars, and everybody is a goddamn stuttering pussy. I'm sitting here begging somebody to quit "oh my gosh I don't know what do you think guys" and tear into somebody. One character after another whose dialogue is "wait I'm not sure". frick somebody tell Logan he looks like a golf ball and we're about to frick you up
Go Greg btw

A couple minor points:
1. You'd be surprised how many rich rich people are completely neurotic and absolute self obsessed psychopaths.
2. You have #1 raising families. Their kids will not be well adjusted to navigate the pitfalls of life. Somebody like Tom is positioned well to succeed because of his large pool of experience to draw from. There are no blinders, safety net and he understands risk.
This show understands those points at a base level and executes it very well.

I get so tired of Ken's "Yeah, no, yeah, ok, sure, yeah". I can see how his dad has made him insecure with a self-esteem issue but you can't expect to be CEO when you project such a soft, spongy exterior.
I'm only half way through season 3 but clearly this is a HBO roast of the Murdocks and Fox News. They kept politics out of the show until the episode where Logan "chooses" the next President. They are at a CPAC type event "full of Timothy McVeighs" and there are numerous comments regarding white this and that and fascist is thrown around a lot. Otherwise they've done a good job of keep politics out of a show about evil, white, right-wing capitalists.

It’s because they’re(kids/family) all thoroughly incompetent after having been handed and/or spoonfed everything in their lives, or they’re(staff/team) so terrified of getting on Logan’s bad side they just continue to subjugate themselves to the obscenely rich boss with a very short fuse.
Not unrealistic at all actually

Yeah I don't believe it's unrealistic but for a powerhouse HBO show I wish the dialogue was more to the point. This show was sharp as hell the first two seasons but now it's just rambling about whatever new venture with Logan yelling "frick OFF" and "I WIN". I don't even know the point of that episode

1. To show the kids are capable of being a worthy foil when they work together
2. To show Logan followed through with Tom and he’s now his most trusted advisor
3. To show despite winning vs the kids last season, Logan is still unhappy without them in his life
4. To show shiv is incapable of dealing with the consequences of her years of shitty behavior like an adult

Is this gonna be the season long thread ?
Good for the kids as they finally beat Logan at something
The last scene with Tom and shiv… ugh… I wish Tom would’ve still said his peace. Shiv is such a count who didn’t want Tom to bring up her own failures and why it didn’t work . That marriage was a total sham from jump street anyway and was gonna be a disaster

They got wind of it and figured out a way to block it under current bylaws. Shiv told Tom, who finally grew a set of balls with her and told Logan. Logan figured out a way around the bylaws that had something to do with the kids’ mother fricking them over,
I don’t think the kids had veto power due to the company bylaws - it was a power granted to them as a term of the divorce. Roy basically bought their mom off in order to alter the divorce terms to cut out the kids’ power to stop the deal.
So that’s gotta feel great when your dad screws you over by buying off your mom who totally values money more than her children’s position in the company

I particularly liked Logan discussing mortality with his hired security guy because he’s literally run off everyone else off. Man.

Logan telling everyone to smell Greg’s finger and take a guess made me spit my water up. That’s the hardest I’ve laughed in a while

You can’t make a Tomelette without breaking a few Greg’s

All true. But that kinda describes the entire series

True and I don't think it's unrealistic at all. I think rich beyond comprehension and one of the most powerful families on Earth just is completely outside of reality and can make people lose touch with it. I just hope the show and mainly the kids get a little more ballsy. Ken finally bitch slapped Logan with the press conference, nobody wanted to align themselves with him, now he's back to being a whiny bitch.

Would love to see Tom go scorched earth at the end with a smile on his face

I'd like to see Greg, dumb ol Greg, subtly come up with a plan at the end without even realizing it that buries everybody
