This is super hard and I’ll definitely forget some unintentionally, but offhand my personal favorites:

- South Park (#1)
- Batman TAS
- Rick & Morty
- The Clone Wars
- Dragonball Z
- Futurama
- Archer
- Scooby Doo, Where Are You?
- X-Men TAS
- Spider-Man TAS

It’s really tough to leave off some of the 90s Nickelodeon or the old Hanna-Barbara shows, or Family Guy in its prime. Not to mention numerous anime series I loved.

I haven't seen one mention of american dad. That show has heen great for like 20 seasons. It actually got better after it moved to TBS.

Gonna limit any "anime" to just american released versions

1. Futurama
2. Cowboy Bebop
3. Southpark
4. Archer
5. Bob's Burgers
6. Rick and Morty
7. X-men 90's
8. original TMNT
9. Transformers original
10. DBZ

edit: im trying to figure out where batman TAS should be plugged in there, it feels wrong to not.

also feels wrong not to have the venture bros on my top ten. alot more good animated tv to sort once you think bout it

and although it doesnt make my list, and hasnt been good in decades, we cannot deny the cultural juggernaut Simpsons is. That in itself deserves some respect.

The lack of SpongeBob in this thread is criminal. First four seasons were elite.

Great list but you forgot gargoyles. Honestly that entire Disney afternoon vs fox block with Batman TAS, Spiderman, and X-men was the highlight of any kid who grew up in the late 80s/early 90s.

This has to be one of the most difficult top tens for me to do. It makes me feel legitimately anxious thinking about the list.

There's too many genres within the "animated" genre.

I grew up on the classics: Flintstones, Jetsons, Scooby Doo, Looney Tunes, Wacky Races, etc.
Then there's the superhero shows: Super Friends, Xmen Animated, batman animated, spiderman (a couple of them), etc.
Then there's the comedy shows: south park, futurama, squidbillies, family guy, aqua teen, rick and morty, etc.

Just too much.
