2 pitchers throwing 100 mph throwing strikes and we can’t even get on the board for them.

For those out there with much more baseball knowledge than me. What is changing about our approach vs lefties?
Normally the lefties we face are throwing sub 85 mph, which anyone at this level will struggle with after seeing 92-97 on a consistent basis.

Last sunday and today is the product of facing very, very good pitchers, who also happen to be left handed.

It's clear today our guys have been trying to lift the ball (due to the wind blowing out). Hollen and Smith both have huge breaking balls that are just fooling us and we're getting too far under them.

If I’m Skenes, I grab a bat tomorrow.

We have a great right handed bat in a Skenes.

It’s time to get him some at bats vs lefties. We’ve shown we don’t have enough righty bats for the lefties.
